Bye, bye, Siobhan’s BIG FACE! You were a sad casualty in the finale of Ringer and now, there’s no chance you will be repaired. Ever.

I’m still not that surprised Ringer was cancelled.  The writing was good in the beginning, but later on (especially after the mid-season finale), it was ALL OVER THE PLACE BAD.

But I still prefer the happy ending dream I had over the finale, which was “mew” at best.

Best of luck to Sarah Michelle Gellar. She’s a great actress. I’m sure she’ll have no trouble finding a great show again.

I had a dream last night, instead of the ending we got in the finale, everything was nicely tied up.

Siobhan was arrested for fraud, Bridget reconciled with Andrew and then Bridget found out about Siobhan’s babies and her and Andrew adopted them and lived happily ever after.

But I told my boyfriend, I know that’s too simple of an ending for Ringer, the show that loves complicated storylines and anti-climatic climaxes.  But in my head, Bridget and Andrew have a happy ending.  And I prefer it that way.

Let’s face it, Ringer has been sinking in the ratings for a long time now.  Only one episode left before the finale. I only watch to watch, not to really care. It has gotten better, somewhat but so close to the finale — it is really doubtful that this show will be renewed for a second season.
I think the only reason it hasn’t been canceled already is that the network is living on a prayer that the finale would produce miraculously high ratings, that they won’t cancel. But it’s doubtful.
