soapsmemorylane: Michael Muhney I like Adam Newman for the same reason why Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold is my favorite character on Once Upon a Time: it’s because they’re complex characters.  Robert Carlyle can be good, evil, morally gray, vulnerable, weak — you either love Mr. Gold or you hate him, Adam Newman is the same way.   And I have a sneaking suspicion that once Gold is reunited with Belle, he’ll strive to be a better person, the same way Sharon makes Adam want to be good.

The Ringer-soap opera connections

I almost expect the next big ‘soap’ related casting news for Ringer to include a guest spot by two of Y&R’s biggest actors, like it would be funny to see Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) or Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) suddenly pop up on Ringer. 

For Eric, it would be funnier if he plays a millionare but a real ass, simliar to his Victor Newman character on Y&R.
